Get ready to drive a small but perfectly formed Mini Cooper rally car! OK the minis aren't actually as little as they used to be in Charlie Croker's time but these modern Cooper S versions certainly pack a serious punch. There's even a wee bit of rally spirit to these Mini cars so looks like you'll be having serious fun out there. The Mini Cooper S Prodrive is an all wheel drive version of the Mini that was developed in partnership with Prodrive. & if that name sounds familiar that's because its the motorsport company that was behind the Subaru & Mini John Cooper Works WRC cars. So there's a certain rally driving heritage to these Minis that you're going to love. Known as the ALL4 these four wheel drive miniature-ish motors are great to drive. Nippy responsive & pretty fast out of the stocks too. & with all that traction under your tyres you'll find you can really push yourself & the car to the limits on this all-gravel stage. Purpose-built in the midst of Essex farmland near Saffron Walden it's pretty much miles from anywhere so your tyre screeching won't disturb anyone but the crops growing at the side of the course. & what a course it is. Three miles long & designed by pro rally drivers so it's pretty cool to drive. Your aim is to guide the Mini Cooper around the rally circuit deftly negotiating the cones to go in-between them & not over them all whilst getting as much dust flying as you can. We love the big loop at the far end of the track that gives you enough space to do a nice drift if you're that way inclined! For these Mini Cooper rally sessions you'll benefit from a pre-drive classroom briefing as well as in-car tuition. This will be from an experienced rally driver who'll show you how to drive the Mini like you're in a WRC stage. We highly recommend going for the hotlap add-on as well

Mini tank driving for kids might well be small but you don't have to be little to enjoy it! Much loved by kids & adults alike driving mini tanks is an experience that will have you grinning from ear to ear & we defy you not to say ' Want one!' when you finish your session! Definitely miniature in stature but more than just a little bit plucky these are fully-tracked one-man machines that'll pretty much go anywhere. Unlike their full-sized Army serving cousins these baby monsters only have room for one & you'll probably have your head & shoulders poking out of the hatch as you drive which makes the task all the more difficult as you can't see what your hands & feet are doing! As for where you'll actually driving these scaled-down tanks you will be on a purpose-built track in Eversley in the heart of Hampshire. You gotta love this Mk 1 Escort experience! The Ford Escort Mark 1 is one seriously iconic car from the 70s. It has rally pedigree through & through & is an absolute classic pocket rocket that's a joy to drive. In fact it's a delight to see one in such good condition. Here in the UK we think the Escort Mk 1 is a legend across the Atlantic the Americans just think this is a ridiculously small car. Remember when mech & tech guru Tej Parker bought one at auction in the Fast & Furious 6 film? Brian O' Connor ended up driving it in hot pursuit of Owen Shaw's tank. Despite its teeny size Brian knew the Escort Mk 1 RS had true rallying credentials as he tested the suspension to the limit launching the vintage Escort RS from a makeshift ramp to save his buddy Roman Pearce. Whilst that's the stuff of movies there's more than a nod to Fast & Furious on this Mk 1 Escort experience with the same rather lovely sky blue & white coachwork. Having performed over 2000 Scott May stunt shows around the country since 1991 they've kept crowds entertained with madcap driving antics including everything from motocross bikes & the wheelie bus to humungous monster trucks doing massive jumps. These experiences give you a hands-on taste of Scott May's stunt driving style. All the shebang & sheboodle of this crazy stunt show sets up at Perranporth & opens its doors to you. On your experience you'll get to drive a range of stunt vehicles & try out some classic stunt moves too. & they won't be in just any old vehicle.
