We call this the ' Plane & helicopter combo' & it's a winner! Ideal for aviation fans who love helicopters & aeroplanes this combined experience give you twice the fun the air. Rotary flight is an amazing thing. We're not going to try & explain how helicopters actually get into the air & then manage to hover skilfully but needless to say the first time you experience it it's pretty cool. This is the Ultimate Powerboat day in Birmingham. Expect an extravaganza of powerboating & high-speed water fun as you spend all day at the inland lake getting to drive three different vessels & having the chance to take on the intense role of co-pilot for a fourth boat. All the boats moored up ready to rock the water are fully race prepared & they really look the business too. First up is the hydroplane boat. Made in Japan & just over four metres long this one person boat has a 400cc engine & a top speed of up to 70mph. You'll be low down & flat on your stomach for driving this
- it's extreme! Next it's time to be a co-pilot in the Gemini Micro Cat boat. These boats take a team of two to control them as they are actually inflatable meaning they are mega light & powerful too. Using your weight to its best advantage you'll pull some major Gs doing tight turns on the water with your pro driver at the helm. Time for a break for lunch & then you're off for the afternoon...
