So without further ado let us tell you what you can expect on the day you go sea fishing in Norfolk. Your departure point depends on the time of year. In the spring & summer months you set off from Brancaster Staithe. During April you can expect to be hauling in skate & cod with May to October being Tope season. In the winter it's a day of fishing for cod from Lowestoft Marina. & you'll more often than not catch a mackerel or two at anytime of year. Some of your catch (subject to fishing rules & etiquette) can then be taken home with you for the freshest tastiest fish supper ever. You'll be ferried out from the harbour to the fishing boat which will be moored in deep water. Once onboard & the kettle on your skipper will take you to the prime fishing spots. Experienced skippers like Jake know these Norfolk waters really well & know in which parts of the sea to look for which species of fish & when. ' Off The Hook' is a 10-metre long Offshore 32 fast fisher that's nice & stable in the water. There's plenty of seating space around the fishing stations. Each comes with rod reel & bait
