The aim of this half day course is to demonstrate that you don't have to slave over a hot stove all day to create a proper tasting curry cooked at home. The course is run by Monisha. Born in Mumbai Monisha set up home in the UK when she was 22. She is a fully qualified chef but soon realised with our busy working lives we haven't got hours to prepare food so she's found her own distinctive cooking style that means you can whip up an authentic curry in minutes on this fun course. As well as being time consuming she also knows curry can have a reputation for being too greasy or too spicy but this course will show that doesn't have to be the case when cooking this sort of food. Your course starts with meeting at Hounslow West underground station then Monisha will guide you round some of the best local shops to pick up cooking ingredients to make a fabulous curry in this really cosmopolitan part of London. Then it's back to the kitchen to learn how to make deliciously easy curries. You will be shown some of the best basic sauce recipes with the aim of bringing out the true flavours of the spices you use And the best part about this half day curry cooking course? The fact that after everything has been cooked up you all get to sit down with your course mates & sample the curry dishes that have been created using only the best & most authentic ingredients sourced locally. Not only that these Police Road Kings were bought in Houston Texas one of the true heartlands of Harley riding in the USA. Now these fantastic bikes are totally at home cruising the Peak District.

This operator runs a fleet of eight Harley-Davidson Road Kings all of which are ex-Police. We are offering half & full-day ride outs on these very special motorbikes. You can ride solo or you can opt for voucher that means that you can bring someone along to ride pillion with you.

On the half day session you’ll cover up to 60miles split into two rides with a stop for a cuppa & cake in between. Those opting for the full-day enjoy a longer tour with a long stop at nice little Derbyshire place for lunch included.

So what’s it like on Road King? Well they are as big & as imposing as you’d imagine. They’re pretty low-slung too with that distinctive rider stance we know & love so well from Harley-Davidson®. These bikes feature the retro windscreen large tank & lovely chrome detailing too.

Of course a Harley-Davidson® is heavy & it is quite different to riding your typical European motorbikes but fear not your hosts will run through the controls with you. They’ll also explain the idiosyncrasies of Harley-Davidsons such as toe change downs & heel change ups. 

Turn on the ignition & you’ll feel a rumble as the air-cooled v-twin engine roars into life. The ride is just as you’d expect
- in low revs the Road King truly lives up to its name. Totally comfortable & capable of cruising the wonderful sweeping country roads of the Peak District the bike is a dream to ride.
