You will be driving a sixth generation Camaro SS2. Of course it sports that rather fine bright yellow coachwork complete with black stripes in a nod to Bumblebee from the Transformers movie but it’s all about the performance & styling over fuel economy & practicality. We're talking a loud & very proud 6.2l 455bhp engine & rear wheel drive.

It’s marketed as a four seater but try & squeeze anyone in the back seats & they won’t thank you for it. Up front it’s more like a cockpit than the cabin of a car. There’s everything from ambient LED lighting systems to touch screens but essentially it’s a very cosy launch centre for this rocket of a car.

The exterior is all about the show. Those humungous air vents that long bonnet the LED head & taillights & the low profile tyres. & don’t forget that famous ‘bow tie’ badge on the grille that is synonymous with the Chevy Camaro.

No-one can really say they actually need a Camaro but if you like your big American cars you’ll certainly want one.
