You & your team will have to keep your wits about you & prepare yourselves for a high-level challenge when you take on the zip wire in Devon! The silence of this serene corner of the countryside is most definitely broken when plucky wire riders can't help letting out a scream or two as they plunge over the valley. The line itself is strung over rather a deep dip that spans around 200m of Devonshire countryside. We have to admit if we were standing on the starting platform we'd be feeling more than a little apprehensive. This is not for those with vertigo. Before you freeze with fear up there the technicians will get you kitted out with the harness & carabiners you need to be able to hook up to the wire. Now it's your turn. As you are attached to the line you might very well have your eyes shut & you might not even be able to look down. But before you know it you'll be gliding off along the wire. That distinctive 'zzzzipppp' noise from the friction of metal on metal gets louder & louder as you accelerate faster & faster along the line before coming into land on the other side legs a-dangling to be caught be a member of this Devon team. No doubt at this point you'll be quite breathless & unable to speak but in a few seconds the realisation of what you've just done will hit & you're likely to be itching to have another go. So if you're up for the hike back over why not give it another run? This time you might keep your eyes open the whole way along! If the zip wire is just a little bit too tame for you this Devonshire centre has come up with a twist for the most daring zippers amongst you. The Hyperbugs team building challenge will see you zooming down the line armed with bug-shaped bean bags that you'll have to drop onto targets way down below you. Yes it sounds pretty easy but it takes skill & precision to release the bug bag at the right moment. & do you throw it or just let it drop? We'll let you work out the best method… Whether you go for the standard voucher for this zip wire in Devon or you opt for the team challenge it's going to be a vertically thrilling task you'll be taking on. Of course safety is paramount & the team here will be on hand to lead the way motivate you & congratulate you when you reach the other side of the valley. Happy sliding! ...

Go green fingered with a grow your own plant terrarium kit! Delivered directly to your door you've got everything in this tin to grow cacti in the comfort of your own home. If you know anyone who wants to get gardening indoors these terrarium plant kits are a great gift to send. The question you'll all be asking is 'is it easy to grow a cactus?'. In actual fact the cactus can be a sensitive little seedling even though you think of them as tough plants that can survive pretty much anything including a hot & dry desert climate. So you'll need to take care of your seeds but all the info you need is included in your kit. Your little growing pots are made out of coconut husks so they're nice & eco-friendly. You've been provided with compost discs which have all the right sorts of soil nutrients your cactus seeds will need to germinate. Once they're planted you'll need to water them as directed & the wait for germination begins! As for where you should keep your growing pots we recommend somewhere nice & light like a windowsill but avoid direct sunlight. If you pop them on your kitchen window ledge for example you can check their progress every morning when you're making a cup of tea. You'll need a bit of patience as it can take anything from three weeks to several months for the seeds to germinate but hopefully you'll be rewarded with a cactus seedling or two that'd look lovely in a home terrarium. Perfect presents to be sent by post these convenient terrarium gifts are a novel way to get growing even if you don't have a garden. The kits can be sent either be sent to you or directly to the person you're buying for. ...

Learn how to be an all action film-style hero on the Gun Rush Experience! This is firearms training with a difference. Hosted by the UK's leading screen action training academy you'll find out if you've got what it takes to be a Lara ' Tomb Raider' Croft or a John ' Die Hard' Mc Clane hero. The Gun Rush experience is as intense as it sounds. Throughout the day you'll be handling blank gas & even live firing weapons. As well as learning all the classic marksmanship skills there's a definite performance element in the day's programme too. After all this is where some of the world's finest action performers come to train. & the standard of training is truly second to none. These guys & girls are all highly experienced in the field of firearms & with backgrounds in the forces & as stunt performers many film & TV production companies have called upon their skills to bring all the best movie action scenes to life. Think Skyfall The Dark Knight Captain America & Saving Private Ryan
- just a few of the films your tutors have worked on. The venue for the Gun Rush in Woking is pretty impressive too. It's a National Shooting Centre that has hosted Commonwealth Games events with 10 & 50m shooting ranges. This is where some of your firearms training takes place but there's also lots of role play style action too where you get to take part in patrol cover to cover & engaging enemy personnel scenarios
- just like you see all the time in the films. One of the most popular modules of the day is the bullet hits workshop. This is where you learn to react as you take a 'hit' how to fall & how to 'die'. It's an essential part of any action film actor's repertoire & it's uttering enthralling & brilliant to learn about too. To be accepted on this unique Gun Rush Experience you will need to have a DBS certificate. All firearms training is carried out by certified coaches & the sessions are designed to teach all skills safely & within the legal parameters of the current UK firearms act. Like we said it's pretty full-on stuff but totally blockbusting!
