Head over to the Dwarf Planet with a crate of Prosecco nibbles & a whole load of friends for a totally far out day on the other side of the solar system. These inter-galactic packages are not for the fainthearted. For a start Pluto is a long long way away. But that's OK as you'll be transported in a super fast space craft & as soon as you board the stewards will be cracking open the first of many celebratory bottles of lovely bubbly Prosecco which will certainly help to while away the long journey. We have to warn you that once landed on Pluto you'll soon discover the average temperature is a rather chilly -229 degrees. But we've thought of that & each voyager is kitted out with a super insulated space suit designed by Stella Mc Cartney so you can be warm & cosy & fashionable at the same time. It might also be worth mentioning that these Prosecco trips to Pluto only run at certain times of... ...

Try not one not two but three paddle sports in Stirlingshire! There's nowhere better than the Scottish countryside to learn how to canoe kayak & st&-up paddle board. It's going to be a wonderful day out in the most stunning setting
- & yes you will get wet! This busy outdoor activity centre just outside Gartmore boasts an enviable location right on the edge of the Trossachs National Park. It's actually a farm covering over 50 acres with 12 acres of woodland & Lochan Broarran at the centre. This lake is where your paddle sport activities will take place
- right on site with no long minibus transfers to the launch spot. What really makes this place is the staff. Each member of the team is friendly enthusiastic & welcoming. It's clear they all love their jobs (and who wouldn't with such a beautiful backdrop?). They're also really patient & know just how to encourage nervous first timers. After all if you've never paddled out on a lake before it can be quite daunting. Not here in Stirlingshire though. The waters are calm enough to build confidence & flowing enough to keep you going. These experiences are brilliant in the fact that you get to try canoeing kayaking & stand up paddle boarding in one session. & whilst they might all look a bit wobbly once you've got the hang of getting on (or in) & got to grips with the paddle technique you'll be off. Of course the instructors are on hand to teach you all the basics & an initial training session will take place on dry land so you know what you are doing. & fear not these boards canoes & kayaks are actually more stable than you'd think. Relax a bit remember the advice of your instructor & listen to those words of encouragement & it'll all be good. Children as young as eight (when accompanied by an adult) can join in on these paddle sports days in Stirlingshire so why not make it a family affair out on the river? Or perhaps gather a group of mates together for some paddling fun?

Paddleboarding in Devon with a difference! These paddleboard adventures are part of the 'wine in the wild' programme at Kenton Park Estate vineyard & it combines a paddle out on the River Exe on a st&-up paddleboard with wine tasting & food. What could possibly be more fun than a spot of paddleboarding in a lovely part of Devon accompanied with wine & a BBQ? Ben is the vineyard & estate manager at Kenton Park & it'll be him or one of his team who'll be hosting these rather unusual paddleboard experiences
- & it's wine & cider from the Kenton Estate you'll be tasting. Not far from Exminster in Devon is Kenton Park at the foothills of Haldon Forest with far-reaching views towards Mamhead Forest. It's a family-owned estate with 10 acres of vines including Pinot Noir & Bacchus which produces award-winning wines such as The Motley Cru & Gun Dog Escape sparkling wines. The grapes aren't the only residents at Kenton. There are also black-nose Valais sheep Tamworth pigs pygmy goats & ever-faithful Pointer dogs
- quite a menagerie of animals but Ben & team wouldn't have it any other way. They're also rather fond of a bit of adventure which is why they came up with this twist on what you'd expect of your usual paddleboarding experience in Devon. In true 'wine in the wild' style you will be taken in the estate Land Rover to the paddleboard launch site at Starcross on the River Exe. As you take a gentle paddle along estuary towards Dawlish Warren there's time to stop off at the River Exe Cafe a floating barge. Once you arrive at the beach it's all ashore for the BBQ with burgers & kebabs from the neighbouring farm shop pasta cheeses crackers & fresh fruit. Afterwards there's time to chill out or explore Dawlish Warren beaches & dunes. Keep an eye on the estuary as you might get lucky a spot a seal. Then as the sun starts to go down it's time to get back on the boards & paddle back to Starcross for your return to the estate. If you're looking for paddleboarding in Devon we think this 'wine in the wild' adventure combining paddling with a BBQ & wine tasting all hosted by the people that make the wines is a fun & tasty trip out.
