On this thrilling Westfield experience you'll be taking one nippy little sports roadster & driving it around a track! These Westfield driving experience days take place at various circuit venues so take your pick & get ready to take a Westfield Sport for a spin. The Westfield is a true pocket rocket. It has the distinct advantage of being light. Very light in fact. Given their tubular space frame technology & glass fibre body they weight in at well under 600kg. This is nothing for a car & the reason why the Westfields drive so well. Originally a personal project by Chris Smith he built his bespoke car in the garage of his home called Westfield House. The car gave more than a nod to Colin Chapman's Lotus Seven design & everyone who saw Chris's car loved it so he started building them for other people. Now it's a well-established sports car company that's 100% British-owned under the Potenza Sports Cars brand making over 400 h&-built cars every year. For these Westfield experience days you'll be driving a Westfield Sport. But this session isn't just about the driving it's about trying to tame this fierce little bundle of acceleration that makes it like no other performance car out there. Get it right & you'll have the car entering & exiting the corners at the perfect speed on the perfect trajectory. & we have to admit when you do get it right it's an awesome feeling! Helping you hit the sweet spot in the Westfield will be the Lead Driving Consultant who'll be conducting the pre-drive briefing. They'll explain what driving the Westfield is like what the car is like your racing lines & what happens out on the circuit. That's the track-side theory done now it's time to head to the track & put practice in motion. Race suit & helmet on jump in to the compact cockpit of the curvy Westfield Sport harness up & get ready to feel the power. & being just inches from the ground you will definitely be feeling every burst of acceleration. The unparalleled performance of the Westfield is matched by quick & composed handling. You'll need to have your wits about you to get this roadster lapping at a decent pace. But there's no doubting you won't forget your Westfield experience. Just such good proper grass-roots driving fun. ...

Experience not one but two high-speed boats on this Wet & Wild Powerboat Adventure day in Southampton! During your first mission it'll be you at the wheel of a thrilling powerboat. A fully qualified skipper will be on hand to give you all the training you need to take a powerful Honda racing speedboat around the offshore race circuit. We're talking amazing cornering speeds getting the boat's hull out of the water flying above the waves & generally having it large on the water. & yes you'll be allowed to drive this boat like you stole it! After all that adrenaline it's time for a break in the marina cafe before you meet your next vessel
- a 450bhp Jet Viper. This is a proper racing boat that's easily the fastest craft out on the waves. It's all about harnessing that power to literally skim across the water at a rate of knots that feels pretty much close to vertical take off speed. It's so gnarly that you'll be dressed in proper jet boat racing gear for your passenger ride. You can pretty much guarantee there will be plenty of that 'wind in your hair' stuff going on along with lots of splashing from the wake the boat creates as your expert driver pulls doughnuts crash stops side slides & even spins. Of course the waterways have speed limits in the harbour areas so as you leave Southampton's Shamrock Quay marina (past the admiring glances) you'll be at a leisurely pace until you reach the open waters of the Solent. Now here's the moment your skipper will open up the throttle & give his boating beauty a real blast. Just to recap on this Wet & Wild Powerboat Adventure you will first get to have a go skippering a full-spec Honda racing powerboat (including a few runs round the buoys on the race course) before your second outing as a passenger on the impressive Jet Viper. We think this is a great day out on the water!

West End Afternoon Tea For Two

Indulge in a little bit of 'belle époque' luxury when you enjoy a Waldorf afternoon tea! It really is all about location location location for what has to be the very best afternoon tea in the West End. The two of you will be taking high tea at the Waldorf in Aldwych just a short stroll from Covent Garden.Your afternoon tea at the Hilton Waldorf is served in the Grand Salon of the Homage restaurant. And what a sumptuous setting it is. With huge gilded ceilings tall Gothic-style pillars sparkling mirrors and an intricate block wooden floor this really is a room that's dressed to impress. In fact we'd say this superb eatery is almost theatrical in its disposition blending modern design touches with a very ornate Louis XVI-style decor. If you're looking for the perfect place to luxuriate in
an afternoon tea we think the Waldorf is it right down to the sleek black velvet upholstered dining chairs and the dark wood and glass tables. Very smart. At the five star Waldorf the emphasis is very much on polite and attentive staff who will be on hand to serve your afternoon tea selection at your table. Just as you'd hope from this sort of establishment the fancy cakes sandwiches and scones come on a silver three-tiered stand and the table linen is most definitely starched! An extra special touch we love is the fact that the tea that is served all afternoon at the Waldorf is actually exclusively blended for this leading West End hotel. You can plump for a nice fresh-brewed coffee or any of a range of other teas but surely the Waldorf's own Tribute and Luxury White blends of tea have got
to be the ones to try served in a china cup with saucer of course. As for the delicious delights that go with your hot beverage well what can we say. Miniature chocolate eclairs mini lemon meringue tarts wonderfully gooey chocolate cakes and delicate macaroons are just some of the treats you could be enjoying along with both fruit and plain scones with a nice strawberry preserve that's not too sweet. The Waldorf's afternoon tea sandwiches are also rather special with different breads chosen to complement each filling. So if you fancy munching on a classic egg and watercress sandwich sipping on a fine in-house blend of tea and smothering your scone with the freshest clotted cream all in a spectacular setting this Waldorf afternoon tea definitely hits the spot when it comes to taking afternoon
tea for two. Well-placed in the heart of the West End a tea here is a great interval during a day of central London sightseeing and shopping. Go on treat someone you love!
