The De Walt DCN692P2 has brushless technology for a longer tool life & greater work efficiency. There are two speeds or power levels to choose from in order to optimise the nailer when firing various nail lengths. This nailer boasts a greater runtime, is ready more quickly to fire repeatedly & produces less recoil than similar models, it is also more durable. The brushless motor provides enough power to fire a 90mm Ring Shank nail in soft wood & up to 63mm in hard. There is a sequential operating mode that means you can fire nails precisely & accurately, as well as a bump operating mode that means quick work progress for the user. The high capacity 5.0 Ah battery packs generate a much longer runtime in both this machines speeds, as well as providing the versatility of being able to use the batteries with other compatible De Walt tools. Because this tool operates mechanically rather than on gas, it gives you the consistent performance you require day-in, day-out. It is also able to operate in temperatures between -20-50 degrees, with minimal cleaning & servicing required. The user is protected thanks to the class leading vibration & sound statistics & a reversible belt/rafter hook means you can keep the most important tools close at hand whilst on the job. The 30-34 degree nail magazine is highly versatile. It will accept not only most clipped head nails but also off centre round head, paper tape or wire weld collated framing nails & depth can be easily adjusted using the thumb wheel depth adjuster. This tool is ergonomically designed to allow the unit to fit easily between a common 400mm centre stud. The gas free operation means you can save a significant amount against refilling a gas operated competitor unit & the tool free stall clearance mechanism means you can minimise down time & maximise the time spent getting the job done. The cordless design means you can work cable free; this makes working in awkward spaces much easier as you dont have to worry about the cables position & the dry fire lockout protects the nailer from firing without nails in the magazine. This tool comes complete with 2 x 5.0 Ah XR Li-Ion battery packs with state of charge indicator, a multi-voltage XR charger, reversible belt hook, non-mar tip & a heavy duty carrying case.
