The Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 C24 is a wheelset which offers World Tour-level, race-ready performance. With a combined carbon & alloy rim construction, this wheelset is both lightweight & offers exceptional all-weather braking. While most at home on steep inclines, weighing just 1389 grams per pair, this wheelset feels fast & responsive in all conditions. By reducing the rim’s wall thickness from 1.3mm to 0.7mm, as well as utilising the patented phosphoric acid anodising process to bond the carbon fibre to the alloy, Shimano has balanced the weight, strength & rigidity of this wheelset to perfection. These technologically advanced rims are combined with a set of equally advanced wide flange hubs, with a digital cup-&-cone bearing system. This, combined with the lightweight, but durable titanium freehub body, results in a wheelset that offers a smooth spin, year after year. These hubs are laced to the rim with 16 spokes on the front, & 20 on the rear resulting in class-leading power transfer & increased wheel strength. Being a 8, 9, 10 & 11-speed compatible wheelset, the Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 C24’s would be equally at home on a classic road bike, as well as a machine built for pure-performance.
