Only a small percentage of Benrinnes malt whisky is released as Benrinnes single malt including Benrinnes Flora & Fauna. Since 1956 distillation at Benrinnes followed an unusual & complex partial triple distillation process but this was replaced by double distillation around 2010. Benrinnes Distillery is one of the few Scottish distilleries continuing to cool its spirit in traditional worm tubs & is a participant in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. The Whisky is produced by a triple distillation which adds complexity. White chocolate & white pepper complements the aromas of nougat & melon skin.
