With the resources to mix & blend from a diverse range of whiskies, Scotland’s whisky blenders are able to standardise the colour, strength & taste across their brands thereby generating repeatability & consistency in their blends. Nose: Full of fruits, dark cherries, peaches in syrup, figs, oranges, cantaloupe melon, honey off the comb, cooking apples. Palate: Thick mouth feel, balanced fresh woodiness shows maturity yet is still vibrant. More citrus notes emerge before the sherry notes come through. Raisins, stewed fruits, pain au chocolat.
