It is said that as shrapnel tore through the ocean, the guns that fired it induced timely labour. Sailors born this way would forever be known as a SON OF A GUN. Deep & complex, this spirit is handcrafted in small batch stills at Chatham Dockyard & remains today an irreverent spirit. Following strict Scottish whisky laws, Copper Rivet distillery distil Son of a Gun to 94.8% & no more before they barrel age in American bourbon oak casks to provide the smoothes of spirit, they leave the spirit to rest for 8 weeks before this irreverent spirit is ready to be released to the world. Only distilled in single batches of 600 litres at a time the distillery achieve a soft, medium bodied clean spirit with tropical fruits & vanilla honey oats on the finish.
