Coriole Estate has many Fig Trees planted. The Dancing Fig refers to the fig appearing to dance in the cool, predominantly south eastern afternoon breeze which comes in off the southern ocean. The Shiraz is estate grown on Corioles predominantly Terra Rossa soils with the Mourvedre sourced from Corioles Willunga property, on slatey soils at the southern end of the Vale. This is the fourth release of The Dancing Fig. The wine is a bright violet red, blushing & youthful. An aromatic nose of rhubarb, red plums, nutmeg & strawberries. The palate is medium to full bodied
- soft & generous with savoury dried herbs. Plums & blackberries with fine tannins. A classy wine for drinking in the short to medium term.
