Grapes: 100% Chardonnay from 45 year old vines Harvest: By hand only Note: The village of Meursault also hosts one of the three glorious feasts of Burgundy during the third weekend of November. On the Monday after the Hospices de Beaune sale some 600 local growers & guests gather at noon for the Paulee de Meursault, an end-of-harvest feast revived in 1920 by Comte Jules Lafon. Everybody brings their own bottles to share with other tables. Vinification: Traditional Vinification. The wine is aged for thirteen months in oak barrels, of which 30% is new oak.
