Francois Lurton - Le Fume Pinot Noir 2012 75cl Bottle
Colour: Bright cherry red colour.
Nose: The nose is fine and elegant with aromas of morello cherry and blakcurrant which predominate and are accompanied by notes of spice.
Palate: The wine is rounded and well-balanced. The tannins are supple and smooth. There is a long finish of red fruit flavours.
In the cooler regions of the Languedoc, where the morning mist tempers the strength of the sun, certain grapes were specially selected in order to produce the best aromatic purity and crispness. It is in these relatively cool microclimates that the Pinot Noir develops the slightly, lively smokiness that makes this wine so unique. The best plots were selected to help develop the full aromatic potential of the wines; thats the secret of Francois Lurton's success over the years.
