In the cooler regions of the Languedoc, where the morning mist tempers the strength of the sun, certain grapes were specially selected in order to produce the best aromatic purity & crispness. It is in these relatively cool microclimates that the Pinot Noir develops the slightly, lively smokiness that makes this wine so unique. The best plots were selected to help develop the full aromatic potential of the wines; thats the secret of Francois Lurton's success over the years.
