The colour is a luminous pale gold. The mousse is delicate & fine. The nose is elegant & complex. There are aromas of white flowers, apricot & mirabelle plums. The palate has plenty of fresh citrus notes & lively acidity, some touches of spice & vanilla, rich brioche elements & a long lemony finish. For a special occasion, this makes a notable aperitif, & with the fish course in particular for shellfish in sauces & especially a simply-cooked white fish. Store in the most stable environment available. Place in an ice bucket with ice & water for around 20 minutes before serving, best between 8-10 degrees C. 100% Chardonnay, with Approx. 15% of reserve wines.
