Colour: Deep violet red. Nose: Red fruits, blackcurrant & raspberry. Palate: Fresh & round tasting with a finish of stewed fruits all in finesse. All meats & poultry. Pork is particularly good with this wine. All cheeses. Soil: High terraces made up of glacial alluvium with many rounded pebbles, stones & gravels. Harvest: H&-harvesting at peak maturity. Vinification: Our red Crozes-Hermitage La Petite Ruche is vinified in cement vats with 1 daily treading. Fermentation lasts from 10 to 12 days. Maturing: Maturing in vats. Bottling in the autumn following harvest so as to preserve the natural fruits bouquet as much as possible.
