Elegant flower spikes of star&45;shaped blooms in a cool violet&45;blue rise above handsome strap&45;shaped, bright green leaves. Native to damp meadowland in North America, these bulbs were once highly prized as a food source. Now, their beautiful flower spikes make them a valuable addition to the late spring garden, where the delightful show fills the gap between spring bulbs & summer perennials. Grow Camassia quamash Blue in damp borders, the edge of woodland gardens or in informal grassy meadows, where it will happily naturalise. They also make excellent cut flowers for a vase indoors.
