A truly spectacular half&45;hardy perennial, native to Madeira & commonly called the Madeira Cranesbill. This giant geranium produces large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves that radiate from a stout central trunk. Pretty pink flowers with magenta centres are produced from the second year on multiple branching stems, making a really show&45;stopping summer display&33; It has even been awarded the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding excellence. Geranium maderense will benefit from some winter protection so is best grown in a conservatory or large patio container which can be moved to a frost&45;free location.
