A slightly shorter variety of Pickerel Hyacinth, the blooms are attractive to bees & butterflies, & plants are also a valuable egg&45;laying site for dragonflies in the UK. With their neat habit & slender flower stems, Pickerel Hyacinths are ideal planted at the margins of a pond in shallow water, submerged up to 12cm &40;5&34;&41;. Pontederia cordata f.albiflora can also be grown in large water&45;filled containers on the patio for an interesting patio feature.
