This rim was developed in co-operation with Gigantex of Taiwan to be the first full carbon clincher in the world that allows maximum pressure in the tyres, where all other alternatives restrict the pressure you can inflate your tyres to. The braking surfaced is lowered & uses impregnated Basalt to deflect any heat generated under braking which can cause the tyre to roll of due to deflection in the rim.
