Cauliflower Seeds - Di Sicilia Violetto

This old Italian cauliflower produces beautiful 10-13cm (4-5) violet/purple tight curds, which turn bright green when cooked. Much easier to grow than its white counterpart, due to the fact that you dont need to cover the curds. In fact, the more sunlight they get, the darker the colour becomes. The fact that this variety is less prone to pest damage also makes it many gardeners favourite. The smaller leaves make a great spring green, and once youve cut the head, youll be rewarded with new growth which can be used as purple sprouting broccoli.
