Yellow or chartreuse stems characterise Cornus sericae ' Budd's Yellow'. Known for its multi-stems, & rapid growth, ' Budd's Yellow' looks stunning in a winter border, where its stems glow if there is winter sunshine. As with most shrubby, coloured stemmed cornus, ' Budd's Yellow' needs to be cut to 30cm above soil level in spring to promote the new, vigorous, brightly coloured growth. Flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers in spring give way to white bracts. Plant where you want to have winter interest, & can enjoy the lovely colour. Flowers May-June. Height 150-200cm. Supplied in a 3-4 litre pot.
