Yellow or chartreuse stems characterise Cornus sericae Budds Yellow. Known for its multi-stems, & rapid growth, Budds Yellow looks stunning in a winter border, where its stems glow if there is winter sunshine. As with most shrubby, coloured stemmed cornus, Budds Yellow needs to be cut to 30cm above soil level in spring to promote the new, vigorous, brightly coloured growth. Flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers in spring give way to white bracts. Plant where you want to have winter interest, & can enjoy the lovely colour. Flowers May-June. Height 150-200cm. Supplied in a 3-4 litre pot.
