Bacardi Gold Rum 70cl
Bacardi Gold was originally known as Bacardi Oro and created in 1862 in Cuba. It is blended rum and the offspring of 14 specially selected different rum that have been aged between three to five years. The special 14 rums chosen are aged in charred wood barrels and this allows them to extract the subtle nut, wood and dried fruit flavours into the rum. After ageing the rum are carefully blended to create the exact characteristics you would find in any bottle of Bacardi's gold rum. On the eye Bacardi Gold is amber gold in colour. On the palate it is mellow with flavours of vanilla and the perfect amount of walnuts, spices and tropical fruits with a subtle background of oak. Its finish is mellow, smooth and brilliantly balanced. The best way to enjoy Bacardi Gold Rum is over heaps of ice
