Bruichladdich The Laddie 16 Year Whisky 70cl
Bruichladdich The Laddie 16 year old is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has been distilled in a way that rarely exists these days. It is a 130 year old style of whisky distilling that includes the set up of wooded washbacks, open mashtuns and tall narrow necked stills. It is then naturally fermented and trickle distilled. The 16 year old has been matured in vanilla-rich casks coopered from American white oak. The barrels are stowed away in the Bruichladdich Loch-side warehouses, where is can slumber and mature until it comes of age. The benefit of aging in their warehouse is that the Whisky inside the barrel can breathe in the invigorating marine air on this Hebridean Island. This is a classis spirit, with the ‘Laddie' 10 and 22 years old sharing a genealogy, a lineage and a
