Glenkinchie Distillers Edition 1992 has been partly matured in Amontillado sherry casks & bottled in 2007. It is a fantastic single malt whisky which breaks out from the norm for normal lowland whiskies that are said to have a short finish, try this & you will realise that this is utter nonsense. The nose is very fruity with a gentle sweetness. Some spice & pepper creeps in with a touch of oaked acidity & zesty orange with subtle esters. On the palate the sherry notes come through adding a warming sensation to the experience.
