Taghta has been billed as the first completely crowd sourced single malt, consumers from around the wold where able to vote on many of the design & production features of the whisky. The consumers where very heavily involved at 5 stages inparticular: voting on the maturing whisky that should be put in the bottle, voting on the name it would be given, the packaging design, the photographs to help bring the whisky to life & chosing the location where Taghta would be launched. Taghta is a non-chill filitered single malt that has been finished in ex-Manzanilla sherry casks giving it a sweet edge.
