In 1931, seventy enthusiastic wine growers joined to make wine together & laid the foundations of what today is Viticoltori Friulani La Delizia. The company grows grape vines on 1, 700 hectares of l&, employing 1000 highly skilled workers to make up the family of one of the largest wineries in Italy. The Prosecco is a lovely light pale straw colour, & on the nose it is lightly fruity with floral notes & a slight seaside tang. On the palate it is a deliciously crisp dry sparkling wine, with taste of ripe pear & a rounded acidity accompanied by some complex citrus sweetness. It is medium bodied with a good structure, the finish is gentle balanced & lingering with the taste of sweet fruit.
