Royal Mint-Chocolate Liqueur was first produced in 1996 & became an ‘ International Star' overnight. Distilled & produced in France it delicately combines mint & chocolate, to create one of the world's truly original liqueurs. It managed to win Gold Medals at Ljubljana 1966, Bruxelles 1971 & London in 1974 H. Warner Allen, the great writer & authority on liqueurs wrote in his book ‘ Liqueurs & the Wine Lover': “ To my amazement & delight when I tried it with my coffee my tongue & palateregistered nothing but approval. The coarseness of chocolate had been extracted & the delicate flavour of the cocoa berry, which I had not tasted for so many years that I had forgotten it, had been retained. This pleasant, smooth liqueur set me wondering how two tastes could have been so miraculously adapted to please my palate & came to the conclusion that it was a case of art returning to nature”.
