After 7 years, it is charcoal distilled to remove any colour from the ageing process and a wonderful, crystal clear rum is produced. An enticing scent of desserts, such as vanilla ice cream and butterscotch, combined with the reminiscent rum and raisin, greet you as you open the bottle. The first mouthful brings in the vanilla and butterscotch, slowly awakening the rum and raisin in the background before finishing with a slightly dry, mineral tang that is entwined with the ever present vanilla. Ideal for those Mojito and Daiquiri moments.
