Big voices big names and a big show at the Bedford Park Summer Proms! Put Sunday the 31st July 2022 in your diary - it's the day of the 2022 Proms in the Park concert in Bedford Park and we've got tickets on sale right now for you to enjoy this summertime outdoor spectacular. Bedford Park is a superb choice of location for this Summer Proms concert. It's a lovely municipal park just north of Bedford city centre and a place that's very much appreciated by visitors. It's at the heart of the local community with play parks duck lake cricket pitches bowling club football pitches bandstand lovely tree-lined walks and the Victorian Pavilion Cafe. For one evening only Bedford Park gets transformed into a Proms Park. In the past vocalists such as Lesley Garrett Jeff Stewart Joanna Forest and
Daniel Koek have graced this wonderful outdoor stage joining the 70-strong choir to belt out the big pop opera and Proms hits to the delight of the Bedfordshire crowd. Providing the live Proms music will be the London Gala Orchestra. There's nothing like hearing all those well-known popular classics being played live by a full band. The strings the wind section the enthusiastic conductor - it'll all be there for prom-goers. Then just when you thought it couldn't get any more atmospheric out there the second half of Proms night is accompanied by a laser spectacular as night falls.
