What could be more befitting than flying a Tiger Moth plane at the historic home of the Tiger Club! Your experience takes place at Redhill Aerodrome & back in the heyday of civilian flying this airport played a very pivotal role in the flying of Tiger Moths. This airstrip in Surrey was the base of the famous Tiger Club between 1959 & 1990 where pilots honed their aerobatic & formation flying skills to put on impressive displays to wow the crowds all around the country as well as starting air racing competitions. Nothing quiet so daredevil today in your vintage Tiger Moth but on longer plane flights you might be able to (easily) persuade the pilot to pull a couple of moves! The Tiger Moth plane you'll be flying in is G-AKUE one of the rare Portuguese-built De Havilland Tiger Moths. Painted up in a rather fetching dark blue with red & white fuselage stripes this very handsome Tiger Moth dates back to 1939. The plane is well-travelled with stints in Mozambique & Northern Rhodesia where she was known as ' Nokomis' (daughter of the moon) & worked as a general transport provider before somehow heading to the plains of Surrey. This DH82a version of the Tiger Moth is a delightful plane to fly & for all these experiences you'll be kitted out in authentic flying jacket & aviator helmet for a truly nostalgic flight. We are offering various flight durations so there is something to suit every budget from a 15 minute taster to get a feel for what it's like to be in an open cockpit plane to a full 40 minute flight where you'll get great views of the Kent & Surrey countryside. If you buy this experience for any aviation fan we are sure just the fact that they can get up close to a Tiger Moth plane is a thrill in itself let alone actually taking off in one & then even having a go at the controls. We think these Tiger Moth flights in Surrey offer a fantastic day out at an historic airfield that will be cherished by the lucky flyer. Indeed with spectators welcome to join you to watch the take off circuits & landing we're sure it'll be a memorable day out for all the family. ...

With a full range of flight durations available we've got an experience to suit you. We are offering 15 30 45 & 60-minute Tiger Moth flights from North Weald. Sitting pretty in the north Essex countryside this is a great little general aviation airfield. It's steeped in history too having been created as RAF North Weald in 1916 & served as a strategic fighter base in WW2 & beyond. Various squadrons have been based at North Weald over the years & everything from Hurricanes & Bristol Blenheims to Gloster Meteors & de Havilland Vampires were commonplace in these skies above Epping. These days the airfield sees its fair share of vintage aircraft flying including these lovely Tiger Moths. The operator running these flights out of North Weald has a trio of Tiger Moths to choose from. You may not know in advance which particular Moth will be flying during your day but all are beautifully restored to be the flying beauties they truly are. Everyone (even captains on those fancy high-tech modern airliners) love the Tiger Moth. There's something just so magical about this tail-dragger open-cockpit biplane. It has bags of charm & is so pretty. It wasn't just about looks though the Moth was the primary trainer for many an Air Force for many a year. This Epping team will tell you that's because the Moth is: 'a robust aircraft that is generally docile & forgiving in normal flight'. But we have to add that does not make this plane boring to fly
- far from it in fact as you'll find out for yourself on these experiences. & don't forget all Tiger Moth flights at North Weald are treated as trial lessons which means you get to have a go at flying the plane just like all those keen young RAF pilot trainees in years gone by. Once your pilot instructor has handled take off & reached level flight it's over to you! Reserve your slot now before they all get booked up
- Moths generally only fly between March & October.

Our Tiger Moth in Shoreham flies out of this historic airport near Brighton & Hove the country's oldest licensed public-serving airfield having first opened its runways to air traffic way back in 1910. You could say it's harking back to halcyon days of flight! This Shoreham-based club offers you the choice of flying in a Tiger Moth or a Stampe. Both are classic vintage biplanes & the Belgian-built Stampe is actually based on de Havilland's famous design. One difference is that the it has a tailwheel whereas the Tiger Moth has a tail slide. This means the Moth can only land on dry grass runways whilst the Stampe can use hard surfaces & grass meaning she can fly all year round. This particular post-war model was built in 1946 & served as a sporting trainer. The Tiger Moth is the oldest & longest serving plane here at Shoreham airport. She was delivered to the RAF in 1940 & was used as a trainer & communications aircraft under the serial number NM137. She headed to civvy... ...

Drive the Fast & Furious Supra & you'll be driving a lookalike of one of Brian's best cars! The bold & brash Toyota Supra turbo that played a major role in the original ' The Fast & The Furious' film is an absolute classic of a Japanese supercar & you get to take it for a spin out on the track. Of course it's not the actual Supra that Brian O' Conner drove (that ninja beauty was actually sold at auction in the US of A in 2015 for the whopping sum of 185 000 dollars!) but this doppelgänger car has all the right bits in all the right places
- right down to the 19" wheels & that unmissable bodywork. As fans of the film will know after Brian's Mitsu Eclipse was trashed the undercover cop needed another car to repay Dominic Toretto with
- & it's an old junkyard Supra that he turns up with at Dominic's garage. Much blood sweat & tears & a budget of 20 000$ later the 1994 Toyota is transformed into a serious street racing car with a rather dashing Candy Pearl Orange paint...

Your day combines a two course lunch a wine tasting a tour a vineyard walk & a video screening to give you a very informative & fun day out in the countryside you will both love.

It has to be said us Brits seem to have a started something of a love affair with English plonk. & it's no longer the poor relation to wines from the other side of the Channel. As the wines you'll be tasting prove Gloucestershire can hold it's own against Bordeaux! Apparently it's all down to the microclimate & the fact that these vines planted in 1973 have had time to mature & develop on the sunny slopes to produce great tasting tipples.

Your day of tasting & touring at the Three Choirs vineyard centres around a two course lunch & you have the choice whether you dine before or after your visit & tasting around this wonderful Gloucestershire venue. You’ll be eating at the vineyard’s Brasserie & you’ll be invited to choose from the a la carte menu up to the value of £50. Locally-sourced produce is top of the agenda here so expect to see dishes such as Cotswold smoked salmon Gloucestershire lamb's liver & locally-reared free range chicken breast all appearing on the menu.

As well as your luncheon date there’ll be time of you to walk the vines using the informations boards lining the route to guide you. There’s also the chance to watch a video telling you all about the history of Three Choirs. & of course no visit to this winery would be complete without sampling the fine work of the Three Choirs vineyard team. Sipping the local nectar in the cosy Cellar Door tasting rooms sampling five selected wines side-by-side gives you a whole new perspective on English wines & how different each one is. You will even get a bottle of Three Choirs wine to take home with you.

These Three Choirs Vineyard tours are great fun informative & above all very tasty! Our magical wine tasting experiences in Gloucestershire can be further enhanced by booking yourselves in for a night at the vineyard in the Three Choirs luxury B&B or one of the lodges that are actually nestled in amongst the rows of vines for an extra special short break surrounded by good wine & food.
