Book your places now for this screen acting school masterclass in London! Whether you're a budding screen actor drama student or just curious to find out what goes on behind the scenes on screen these one-day screen actors workshops are for you. The courses take place at a renowned film centre in the heart of London's Charing Cross district. This particular masterclass around acting for the screen is hosted by Patrick Tucker a successful stage & screen director since 1968 who has also been teaching acting & directing skills since 1999. The first thing to know is that screen acting is very different from stage acting. On the stage everything runs 'live' & in chronological order. On the screen scenes are not shot in order & there are certain techniques directors use when filming that impact on how the actors act
- it's all to do with positions & vocal levels but we'll just leave it there you'll find out more on the course! As well as hearing insights into the world of acting on screen from Patrick he'll also engage you in group demonstrations & exercises so you can really see for yourself how it all works. There will be lots of filming & reviewing of what you've done so you can learn & improve together. At lunch it's an opportunity to chat to your fellow students & to network. It's the chance to discuss projects & collaborations as well as refuelling for the afternoon part of your workshop. The afternoon session covers various screen acting topics such as casting & auditions including filming & playback. Patrick will also talk you through how to get TV & film work as an actor with time spent on how best to present & promote yourself. This screen acting school masterclass will prepare you for the real world of acting in front of a camera for film or television. It's hosted by a well-known film centre that is responsible for the annual British Independent Film Awards & presented by a director with over 400 stage & TV directing credits to his name.

Go sea kayaking Dorset style! What could be better than kayaking on the clear blue waters off the Jurassic coast of Dorset? These kayak experiences at Sandbanks offer great paddling combining superb views & the thrill of kayaking.

This Dorset kayak school operates out of the exclusive area of Sandbanks with its lovely family-friendly beach that is really popular when the sun shines. These experiences give you a chance to learn a new watersport have fun on the water & see the Dorset coastline from the sea.

You’ll be using sit-on-top kayaks. These are really stable rugged craft that are easy to manoeuvre & won’t have you worried about wobbling too much. There’s a bit of a knack to getting in them but once you’re sorted you’ll be confident enough to paddle. The qualified instructors will be teaching you all you need to know including safety paddling techniques & how to get in & out of the kayak.

What sets this kayak experience apart is the fact that you’ll be on the sea. Not everywhere in Dorset is suitable for novice sea kayakers but Sandbanks is known for its calm waters so hopefully it won’t be too choppy out there for your first foray into kayaking.

Once you’re up & running there’ll be time for a bit exploring (a paddle around Poole harbour is a favourite) & even a few games out on the water. They’re good fun & a right laugh too with everyone joining in making it a really convivial activity.

As long as you’re an able swimmer (you will also have a buoyancy aid) & are at least eight years old you can have a go at sea kayaking in Dorset. We think it makes a fab day out for all the family to enjoy together & is much more fun than lazing around on the beach all day. All the gear you need is included too & no previous canoe or kayak experience is necessary
- just bring yourself & some enthusiasm!

Product Description

Splash out with a watery sea-life adventure when you go dolphin watching in Scotland! Take to the seas near Inverness with our dolphin cruises & discover the beauty of these sleek & graceful marine mammals. If the spectacular mountain scenery of the Scottish Highlands doesn't take your breath away the sight of Bottlenose Dolphins swimming alongside the boat certainly will.

Your wave-skimming session begins at Cromarty a town on the Black Isle located only a few miles from the regional capital of Inverness. From here dolphin cruises depart regularly out into the Moray Firth one of the hottest dolphin-watching locations in Scotl&. Tours have been running here since 2004 so the team have a lot of experience in finding the best sites for spotting them!

For the duration of your cruise you’ll be in the capable hands of skipper Sarah as she navigates the open waters of the firth at speeds of up to 25 knots
- even the boat ride itself is an exhilarating experience as you  go in search of the resident colony of dolphins enjoying life in these Scottish waters. A whole range of creatures make their home in the Moray Firth so as well as watching out for the dolphins that inhabit the Inverness channel you’ve also got a good chance of catching a glimpse of Harbour Porpoises Common & Grey Seals along with as a huge variety of sea birds who nest on the rugged coastlines.

If you’re lucky & the weather holds you might even be able to use a hydrophone to listen to the echoing underwater sounds that dolphins & other mammals make. In the summer months Minke Whales have been known to pay a visit too making this dolphin watching experience an all-round sea-life extravaganza off the coast of Scotl&.

The centre is an accredited operator with the Dolphin Space Programme a local voluntary code of conduct designed to safeguard the welfare & future of the cetaceans (marine mammals) in the Moray Firth. This means that all dolphin watching cruises run by the team are designed to avoid disturbing these marvellous creatures any more than necessary – though as everyone knows dolphins are incredibly friendly animals & need no encouragement to come & say hello!

If you’re fascinated by these elegant mammals & would love the chance to see them thriving in their natural habitat this Inverness dolphin cruise is the experience for you. & if you’d like to turn your wildlife spotting into a minibreak why not combine dolphin watching in Scotland with an exploration of the Highlands? This fin-tastic region offers something for everyone from animal lovers to whisky connoisseurs & a visit here is sure to have you whistling for joy in no time at all.
