If you’re lucky & the weather holds you might even be able to use a hydrophone to listen to the echoing underwater sounds that dolphins & other mammals make. The centre is an accredited operator with the Dolphin Space Programme a local voluntary code of conduct designed to safeguard the welfare & future of the cetaceans (marine mammals) in the Moray Firth. This means that all dolphin watching cruises run by the team are designed to avoid disturbing these marvellous creatures any more than necessary – though as everyone knows dolphins are incredibly friendly animals & need no encouragement to come & say hello!
