Adelphi believes that only the very best single cask, single malt whiskies are good enough to be bottled on their own. This Bunnahabhain was distilled from peated malt in 1997 & aged for 13 years in a refill sherry cask before it was bottled. There are only 369 bottles in total from cask no. 5372. This Highland Park Whisky is rich & spicy, destilled in 1997 & aged for 13 years. Limited release:there are only 263 bottles in total from cask no. 981.

Colour: mid gold, with khaki lights & a fine, moderate bead. Nose: a slight nose prickle with chocolate malt & hessian, cocoa & cherries. Palate: at first in the glass, the aroma is of chocolate boxes (possibly cherry liqueur chocs) later some fondant & dry peat & cocoa & coffee. Great length with elegant spices.

Captained by Charles Knatchbull with Rear Admiral Francis Samuel Drake aboard, this 70 gun ship of the line was one of the first ships to engage the French in the Battle of the Saints.
