The 20 year old Dictador uses the Solera method that consists of the mixing of barrels of different ages in order to obtain better development of flavour. Rum barrels from 14 to 24 years old are mixed giving an average of 20 years old. Once the final mix is ready they check the alcohol percentage, which will be around 54% abv. The rums are then hydrated with demineralized water until they obtain 40% by volume in a slow 28 day process, drop by drop. Limited stock.
