A blend of rich pot still & elegant column distilled rums which are aged for around 6 years in ex-American whiskey casks initially before being re-casked in ex Oloroso sherry casks. This secondary maturation brings a wonderful complexity & depth of flavour to this rum. Nose: Elegant & enticing. Toffee, vanilla & dried fruits. Palate: Rich in flavour yet mellow & subtle. Notes of brown sugar, treacle, raisins & liquorice. Finish: Mellow & moreish. Toasty oak & a nuttiness from the sherry. Beautifully balanced. Doorly's rums are crafted in Barbados by R. L.
