Corey grew up around the beaches, orchards & vineyards of West Auckl&. After gaining a BSc in chemistry at the University of Auckl&, Corey joined the Matua Valley winery where he worked for 10 years, rising to the position of Senior Winemaker. During that time he graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Graduate Diploma in Oenology. He has worked as a winemaker in Australia, France & California. Food pairing: this wine will be a perfect match with starters, seafood, butter cooked fish & Asian food.

Grown on a single vineyard in Martinborough, the fruit was handpicked after an excellent growing season. Crushed & de-stemmed into small fermenters the must was cold soaked for 4 days & an indigenous ferment allowed to start.
