Fundador means ' Founder' in Spanish. This is an apt name because it was the first brand to be marketed as a ' Brandy de Jerez' way back in 1874. Today it is sold in more than 30 countries & enjoyed by millions.
Wine has been made in the Jerez region of Spain for more than 3, 000 years. The distillers' art arrived comparatively recently
- with the Moors who reached Andalucia in the eighth century.
Fundador is Spain's largest export brandy, aged in the traditional solera system. Sherry-soaked barrels give the brandy its distinctive taste & warm colour.
