Tallgrass thrives in the cool & shaded meadows of Poland & Lithuania. Its aromatic properties confer it a subtle sweet taste & a particularly fragrant aroma. It has been used to flavour vodka for centuries, hence its popular name of bison or holy grass. Today, Potocki Lithuanian Tallgrass is produced by carefully macerating dried, hand picked blades. It develops a fresh & vivacious vegetal aroma, before revealing voluptuous & creamy notes of vanilla. It is well suited to accompany white fish served with a rich sauce & is also a natural companion to apple or pear, however served. Serve at room temperature with savoury dishes, chilled in a shot glass with desserts, or on the rocks with apple juice.
