Drive the most iconic vintage muscle cars from the USA on a track near you ...

Gear yourself up for the Dodge Challenger drive at a track near you! This modern muscle car from the Stateside is a true automotive star & this is your chance to take it for a spin at your choice from several tracks around the country.

This particular Dodge Challenger is an R/T Scat Pack 392. If you’re not into your Americana you won’t have a clue what all that means but if you love your beefy American V8s you’ll totally get what it’s all about. Here’s your lesson in Dodge Challenger lingo:

The R/T stands for Road/ Track which means this beast is as at home on the NASCAR circuit as it is street racing with upgraded brakes suspension & tyres. The Scat Pack refers to the trim level from Dodge. Legend has it that it’s a nod to Frank Sinatra’s Rat Pack but whatever the story behind it this big boy delivers on style in that all-American way.

The 392 bit refers to the V8 HEMI engine that powers this monster. We’re talking 492bhp 1765mph top speed & a 0-60mph time of 3.8 seconds all wrapped up in a wide-bodied chassis with rear-wheel drive to boot.

When they said this latest generation of the Dodge Challenger was the ‘ Leader of the Pack’ they meant it. Dodge has stayed true to the halcyon days of muscle cars with the ‘shaker hood’ where the engine air intake pokes out of the car’s bonnet & literally shakes when that throaty V8 is revved.

We think you’ll love driving this Dodge Challenger as much as we’ve loved telling you about it. If you are fascinated by all things American you will adore these experiences in the R/T Scat Pack 392. It really is quite a drive with this latest generation Challenger’s pedigree going right back to 1969.

We are offering Blast & Thrill experiences with the Thrill doubling your drive time in the Dodge. Available at a range of tracks around the UK you can choose where you’d like to go for your Dodge Challenger drive. Book now & get ready to drive the awesome R/T Scat Pack!

All aqua park experiences are offered as 'arrive & play' sessions. You'll get a whole hour out on the floating modules but before you can get jumping & climbing there are a couple of essential things you need to do on the lake shore. The first thing is to get kitted out in a wetsuit. This protects you from the cold helps with flotation & stops chaffing when you slip & slide! Then it's a buoyancy aid which will do exactly that
- help you stay buoyant when you land with that big splash in the lake. The second thing is a safety briefing that'll explain what's what. Then it's your turn to take to the floating aqua park wonderl&. It's been set up just a short distance from the pontoon & the main club area of Wyboston Lake but you will need to be able to swim at least 20m unassisted to be allowed to access the aqua park. Once you've clambered on you'll want to explore. Run over that slippery-when -wet balance beam have a little bounce on the trampoline haul yourself up the wall with the rope & feel like you're walking on water on the wobbly plank bridge. Then gear yourself up for the big one
- the aqua slide. Line up your mates link arms & go….with an almighty splosh you'll be launched into the water. Wet & grinning like a Cheshire cat you'll be back up on those interlocking modules within seconds so you can get down the serious business of enjoying this aqua park in Bedfordshire to the max. & as this Wyboston Lakes team says it's all 'awesome fun in safe surroundings'.

Amphibious Driving Leicestershire

When it comes to Argocat driving you'll certainly need your wits about you to be able to control this 8x8 vehicle! On this particular model there's no steering wheel and not even a set of handlebars it's all about the levers but with a bit of crunching and lot of concentration you should get the knack pretty quickly. This amphibious vehicle is a mind blowing little thing that really packs a punch. When you first catch sight of the Argocat you might be forgiven for thinking something that small can't possibly be much good when it comes to rough and tumble terrain but believe us the brilliance is in its simplicity. With eight wheels a very basic open cab with seating for two and a 'bin' behind that lets up to four perch on the edge for the ride that's about your lot. The genius comes in the
fact that this vehicle is amphibious so you can go driving it pretty much anywhere and it's small enough to go weaving in and out of trees take on narrow paths or even attempt ground where there is no path at all just rocks tree roots and dirt. Here at this centre in Leicestershire the instructors have plotted designed and built several different trails that all make the most of the natural lay of the land. Being a former quarry there are plenty of challenges to be had and we're pretty sure you'll bottle it way before the Argocat does! And if you've ever seen one of these plucky amphibious vehicles being driven you may have noticed that none of the wheels move. Which may lead you to ask yourself how the Argocat turns? Well this 8x8 actually uses the skid-steer method which is exactly as it
sounds. That's to say the eight wheels work independently and according to whether the left set or the right set are turning and driving forward you will skid and slide in the opposite direction. If that's as clear as mud you'll be able to suss it all out when you're in the hot seat! This experience lasts around an hour and gives all participants plenty of Argocat driving during which you'll be able to tackle everything from steep gradients to some scarily deep water troughs (don't worry you won't sink the Argocat is amphibious remember?). You may have driven some different vehicles in your time but nothing quite so madcap as this 8x8 skid steering mini monster!
