The Record Power TS315/UK1 10/12" Cast Iron Saw with Sliding Beam & Scoring features a cast iron motor housing & unit that sits within two cast iron trunnions. The trunnions are machined for accuracy & mounted on top of the frame as opposed to mounted on the table. This feature provides accuracy, rigidity & longevity. Separate handweels operate the rise & fall of the blade & the tilting mechanism & operate on sturdy steel lead screws with rolled ACME threads for smooth action. There is a large cast table which is surface ground to ensure a smooth, flat finish. The fence is a cast iron mount with cam locks & fine adjustment, mounted to a steel bar for rock solid performance. The machine has a maximum ripping capacity of 910mm which can be extended to 1250mm with the optional right hand extension kit (not included). The quiet induction motor is a generous 3HP & drives the 10" saw blade & 80mm scoring blade with ease. Scoring is belt driven & can be adjusted from the top of the table to provide a clean cut with minimal break out on veneered sheets & boards. The scoring blade can be removed to allow a 12" blade to be fitted, increasing the maximum cutting depth capacity to 100mm
