An exceptional quality wine. The colour is a very pure bright yellow, with golden highlights. A froth of light bubbles forming a discreet ring in the glass.
Intense nose revealing fresh citrus notes admirably matched with well-developed toasted aromas. Ample, well-structured palate.
The range of aromas expands with hints of dry fruit, apricot in particular appearing in mid-palate alongside honeyed notes. Exquisite balance, the texture astonishingly light, & the finish harmonious with rich intermingling flavours.
The wine maker's comment
- This wine, made from Cote des Blancs Grands Crus, has a high potential for ageing. After four years of ageing in our cellars, it will do honour to any table but can also be easily kept a few more years, developing toasted & candied fruit aromas.
