Nose: A deep earthiness of lemon with zesty citrus top notes. Palate: Thick & oily with a welcoming sweet creaminess, lemon meringue pie & subtle notes of vanilla. Finish: An intense citrus pithiness with lingering lemon zest. The spirit is diluted with water originating from Chase's bore hole from the bottom field of their farm. The diligent 72 hour maceration which follows with dried Eureka Lemon peel helps enhance the refreshing citrus notes & adds a sumptuous viscosity to the vodka. I always thought flavoured vodkas were down to the mixologists or guys in the bar but we have made, for a bit of fun, a smoked potato vodka & it has turned out to be great, so good we have now succumbed to making flavours but only in small batches of 1000 bottles with each limited edition bottle being numbered & signed. Our smoked vodka is made using the finest English Oak & our traditional copper pot distilling methods to create this fantastic new taste, with a smooth & soft finish.
