The Marnier Lapostolle family, makers of Grand Marnier for seven generations, produce this luxury, ultra-premium white spirit, KAPPA, from the Elqui Valley in Chile. The Marnier Lapostolle company was founded in France in 1827 & it is owned & operated by the fifth, sixth & seventh generations of the family who employ the same care of quality as their forebears. The company produces a portfolio of luxury spirits & wines & is best known for Grand Marnier liqueur, yet, the family also produces Lapostolle wines from Chile & Chateau de Sancerre wines from the Loire Valley.
Colour: Crystalline. Aroma: Earthy, spicy, & complex. With bright floral aromatics, fruit tones, & rose notes. Taste: Muscat flavours & taste, orange blossom, jasmine, rose petal, peach, apricot, tropical fruits, honeydew, a hint of apple peel, grapefruit rind, bright cherry, & a slight herbal note. Finish: Very long with layers of complexity, enhanced by a small dose of acidity. Enjoy neat, on the rocks or in unconventional cocktails.
