Colour: Old gold. Nose: Exceptionally complex nose where citrus plays an important part & a gentle note of peat lingers in the background beside the oak & floral notes. Palate: The deep mouth is redolent with maturity & layered flavours of marmalade, dark chocolate, dried dates, Demerara sugar, peat & sweet spices. Velvet smooth across the palate. Finish: Long, attention-retaining, cappuccino flavoured finish.

Colour: Deep mahogany. Nose: Citrus & oak dominate the nose but there is so much more: fruity notes of fat cherries, over-ripe yams, grapes, floral notes & sweet vanilla. There is molasses & hickory notes too. Palate: It is silky, deep, rich & mellow in the mouth with loads of marmalade, juicy dates, burnt raisins, smooth bitter chocolate & Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee notes, mocha too. Theres a whiff of peat & fine, delicate smoke. Finish: A long, fine, firm finish.

Colour: Colourless, slight clouding on addition of water. Nose: Creamy butterscotch & custard creams give way to delicate notes of sweet hay & freshly cut grass. With water, this spirit becomes very floral & fruity, pineapple cubes & lemon curd, with a hint of apricot & plum sneaking through. A fresh, vibrant, summery spirit. Palate: Powerful at first with a wave of chilli & black pepper, giving way to a sweetness reminiscent of toffee & liquorice. Finish: Warming & spicy, the liquorice lingering on the sides of the tongue.

Colour: Colourless, turning slightly cloudy on the addition of water. Nose: Light & sweet with fruity limes & sour pineapple sitting shoulder to shoulder with a gentle hint of peat, bonfire ash & subtle earthiness. Palate: Initially extremely creamy & full, like velvet. Very sweet smoke slowly climbs to the back palate, peaking with rounded ashy flavours & traces of sweet red liquorice. Wonderfully round.
