Tullibardine 1973 is a single malt whisky from the Highland region of the Scotl&. This bottled was distilled in 1973 & bottled in 2004 giving it an age of 31 years old. It is distilled in casks that previously held sherry & was then bottled at natural cask strength. On appearance, the colour is a bright gold colour. On the nose it is of medium body & well-balanced. There is a crisp note of acacia honey & honeycomb, barley sugar & toasted cereals with notes of cut herbs. The palate is quite light & medium bodied. There are notes of cut straw & floral flavours with hints of caramel & barley followed closely by honey. The finish has a medium length to it & is dry with more floral & oak notes.
