The soil is chalky & loamy & the vineyard’s sun exposure is both North & South. The altitude is 90m to 120m. The grapes were handpicked during the first & second week of April & they had skin contact for 1 day. Fermentation was at 14 Deg C for 3 weeks & the wine was bottled in October. This wine is a mid straw colour & is clear, bright, vibrant with a youthful hue. On the nose it shows intense pineapple characters with a delicate touch of freshly mown grass, underneath riper fruits, white peach & floral notes. Fresh acidity persists & gives great length. Finishes with a flinty mineral touch. Enjoy now with seafood, salads & goat cheese ...

Aromas of bright cherry & red berry with hints of cool climate cranberry framed in whips of smoky peat hearth fire. Flavours are bright, with firm acid structure supporting the same fruit tones perceptible in the aroma
- very persistent! The finish lingers with long, late acid backbone carrying the red berry late into the aftertaste.

For the Syrah Lovers, this is probably a welcome & unexpected version of a Chilean Syrah. As Jancis Robinson mentioned, I would hate to get this wine in a blind tasting, as I would put more towards Northern Rhone. There are very few Syrahs that dare to go so far in their acidity & go towards the herbal heights of the variety. This is the perfect reflection of the terroir of Lo Abarca. The nose is floral & shows red fruits & spices such as fresh white & black pepper. On the palate, it is delicate, with elegance & a firm acidity, full of red fruits. A must try Syrah from Chile! ...

Casa Noble only makes 100% agave tequila from blue agave grown organically (certified USDA) on 650 hectares of their own land in the hills of Jalisco. A succulent native to Central America, it thrives in this arid climate & high altitude sites. Pale gold in colour, the anejo has rich aromas of dried fruit. Toasted oak, spice, butterscotch & sweet cooked agave characters make this a delight to sniff & sip. Aged tequilas show aromas developed from their maturation in oak, such as vanilla, almond, sweet melon & honey overlaying the gentle vegetal notes from the blue agave. ...
