A first from Klein Constantia, this blended white wine expresses their viticultural potential for the production of fine white wine. Based on Semillon, the blend contains Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & a lick of Muscat de Frontignan & has been matured in barrels for 11 months. A complex, multi-layered wine, it opens up beautifully in the glass & reveals its profound depth on the palate. Initially the palate shows minerally, greengage flavours associated with Semillon, & is perhaps slightly honeyed. The palate plays out to a feat of juicy tropical fruits & a broad creamy palate, all the while stayed by the influence of oak & the ever-present, delightful fresh floral tones of Muscat de Frontignan.
